ANDREW HSUEH

Andrew is an energetic, passionate person driven in everything he puts his mind to. Andrew studied Film and Media Productions at Humber College and fell extremely in love with video editing. He loves telling a story through the power and tools an editor can tell. Andrew loves the psychological thriller/thriller genre and aspires to work in that genre. Andrew has worked on various films where he continues to tell stories and bring characters to life -- through his and the eyes of the director. Andrew continues to challenge himself with every project, he persists to surprise the viewers whenever possible.

Born and raised in Colombia, Andrés Galindo Arteaga from AG music for media is a composer and musician based in Toronto. In 2015 Andrés started to study at Centennial College's "Music Industry Arts and performance program” (MIAP). He collaborated in different student projects and later did his internship as an assistant composer at the Screen Composers Guild of Canada "Apprentice Mentorship Program" (AMP). His motivation for storytelling and composing for picture has enabled him to collaborate with filmmakers, game developers, and other creative content creators. Andrés continues to bring fresh, musical currents in a variety of projects in the Film and Video Game industry.

Nyssa Glück, Associate Member C.S.C., is a graduate of Ryerson University's Image Arts program, where she was awarded the Norman Jewison Filmmaker Award for cinematography. Her thesis films have screened at several festivals, including “Away Home” (directed by Jana Stackhouse, 2017) which played at TIFF Canada Top Ten Student Segment and the International Atlantic Film Festival. “Work” (directed by Claire Allore, 2017) premiered at Hot Docs. Nyssa has shadowed Phedon Papamichael (A.S.C, G.S.C) on the feature films “Downsizing” (directed by Alexander Payne, 2017), and “Brighton 4” (directed by Levan Koguashvili, 2018). Stories about people in difficult situations - and coming of age stories - are of particular interest to her, as she builds her body of work.

Vince Ha is a writer-director who captures fragmentary moments and uses them to challenge issues of race, class, gender, and representation. He holds an MFA in Documentary Media from Toronto Metropolitan University and is pursuing his PhD in Screen Culture and Curatorial Studies at Queen’s University. His work has been presented locally at Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival, Gardiner Museum, Buddies in Bad Times, The ArQuives, and Hot Docs Rogers Cinema, and internationally in China, Denmark, Germany, Japan, Thailand, United Kingdom, the United States, and Vietnam.

EDWARD JEANVEAU

Edward has been working in the audio and film industry since 1997.  He has worked on large shows such as PBS's Nova Wonders and The Nature of Things with David Suzuki. With a musical background and a love of performance, his approach to each project is that of full commitment and soulful dedication. His experience is large, his passion real and his skills in constant growth. Eddie aims to seek out the best to collaborate with, grow with and to share his knowledge with others. Edward is also a part-time professor of post-production audio at George Brown College in Toronto, Canada helping to shape the next generation of sound women and men.

Aries Cheung is a visual artist, graphic designer, illustrator, filmmaker and performing artist. Aries’ works often deal with racial identity, gender and sexuality. He has collaborated with Little Pear Garden Collective, Eventual Ashes, Wuming Dance Project and Rice Roll Productions and has created video projections and installations in multi-disciplinary productions with writer and sound artist, Gein Wong and choreographer Emily Cheung. He has performed in musical theatre and in films and was on the advisor committee and mentor team for Rice Roll Productions’ Invisible Footprints 0.1 and as a featured artist in Invisible Footprints 0.2 exhibition, co-presented with Gardner Museum in Toronto. His short films have been screened at the Toronto Inside Out LGBT Film Festival.

CHRIS DAVIES

Chris Davies is a script supervisor and lover of films that challenge your perceptions and change your life.  Born and raised in Whitby, Ontario, Chris studied Business Administration at Trent University.  After moving to Toronto, Chris discovered a wide range of diverse and eclectic theaters around town and began to watch as many different films and shorts as possible. He also started volunteering in the arts wherever he could so his time and energy can make space for new and exciting works. Chris has worked on many shorts and feature films in Toronto and continues this support through his work as a script supervisor.

Pragati Bhavsar was born and grew up in a small city Vadodara, India. Her life took a huge turn when she moved to Toronto, where she studied Animation at Seneca and continued her passion in film. With so many hidden stories in Toronto, her passion for live-action filmmaking burns stronger each day. After graduating from film school, she finds herself interested in working as a camera operator and assisting in the camera department. Pragati has worked on a number of short films and is continuing to gain skills to become a cinematographer.
